Simply Master Microsoft® Excel, Beginner to Basic

As the title says this book is designed for Beginners and Basic users of Microsoft® Excel application.

For work or for personal use nowadays it is mandatory to know how to use and perform activities in Excel. Also, it is well known that Excel represents a bridge between our ERP, CRM, Banking systems, Internet platforms or personal needs (such as Crypto Portfolio, Expenses, Planning, trackers). All previous mentioned use import or/and export functions that convert the information from these systems into Excel spreadsheets. This can and should be used to better evaluate, represent and read the data.

This book is addressed to the newies that want and have the desire to learn Excel.

In this book we have used a new concept: Learn by Design. What does this mean? We have designed the content in such a way that all the information that you actually use or need is compressed and described step by step. This book represents a guide for what you need, where to find it and how to use it. Remember! You do not need hundreds of pages to learn something, you need good and compressed information, and this is exactly what we offer!

A Basic user of Excel is someone who can perform the following activities in Excel:

The book is structured in 3 modules and each module has lessons with indicated timing needed for learning:

Module 1 – Excel Basics – Total learn time: 1 h and 10 min

• Lesson 1 – Introduction in Microsoft® Excel: Excel Tabs, Structure, Worksheets, Cells, etc.
  
• Lesson 2 – Entry, editing and formatting data in active (range)cell: Information Type and Format, Conditional and Advanced Formatting
  
• Lesson 3 – Working with Cells and Ranges in Excel: Formating, Shortcuts, Information management, etc.
  
• Lesson 4 – Managing the Worksheets: Customization, Working with Worksheets, etc.
  

Module 2 – Excel Main Features / Options – Total learn time: 1 h and 10 min

• Lesson 1– Tables: Everything you need to know about tables
  
• Lesson 2 – Sort and Filter: Working Filters, Slicers, etc.
  

Module 3 – Introduction to Excel Formulas f(x) – Total learn time: 60 min

• Lesson 1 – Introduction to formula: Formula structure,insert and edit formula, help, errors handling,  Audit & Check Formulas, List of most used formulas and their structure, etc.

ABOUT the REWARD TOOLS

When I started this KICKSTARTER, and while writing these lines I figured out I want to give even more so I will share with you some Excel tools that will not only help you practice what you learned but also help you in your personal/hobby life.

These tools are Excel sheets that are fully automated. You only need to feed your information in, and all the rest will be done by the buttons inside the tools. Some of the tools will require you to fill your own API in (for example the one for the Crypto Portfolio) or to do some small changes.

These tools are definitely made for someone who already read the book and learned its content. Any additional steps that might not be covered in the book will be definitely included in each Tool Instruction.

• EXPENSES Tool (also known as Cash Flow tool)
